Vickrey-Clarke-Groves Auction-Based Storage Allocation for Distributed Camera Systems

Video surveillance systems are critical infrastructures and that growing in size complexity. Storage space is the prime resource such but current setups centralized limited resources due to security cost constraints. Allocating correct amount of storage each camera considering their large differences characteristics video content challenging. In this paper we propose a game theoretic approach allocation for based on Vickrey-Clarke-Groves (VCG) auction mechanism.
